User Controllers & Room Sensors for Demand-Controlled Ventilation

User controllers and room sensors play a key role in managing demand-controlled ventilation systems, allowing precise regulation of airflow based on indoor conditions and user input.

User Controllers

User controllers are typically installed as local controls in wet rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens, where ventilation demand frequently changes. They allow occupants to manually adjust ventilation levels when required.

Room Sensors

A room sensor combines the functionality of a user controller with an integrated CO₂ or humidity sensor, enabling automatic ventilation control based on real-time indoor air quality data.

User Controllers With or Without Sensors

User controllers are available with or without integrated sensors and are designed to manage demand-controlled ventilation systems efficiently. Sensor-equipped versions automatically respond to environmental conditions, while standard controllers provide manual operation.

Battery-Powered User Controllers (RF Only)

Battery-powered user controllers are particularly well suited to renovation projects, as they require no hard wiring. These controllers communicate via RF (radio frequency), allowing fast and flexible installation.

Please note: battery-powered user controllers do not function as RF repeaters.

CO₂ Room Sensor (RF + Wired)

The CO₂ room sensor continuously measures carbon dioxide levels, a key indicator of indoor air quality, as well as room temperature. It is designed for use in living areas and automatically adjusts ventilation rates to maintain a healthy indoor climate.

This sensor also operates as an RF repeater, extending system communication range.

Humidity Room Sensor (RF + Wired)

The humidity room sensor monitors relative humidity (RH) and temperature, making it ideal for wet rooms such as bathrooms and utility spaces. By detecting moisture levels, it ensures effective moisture extraction and condensation prevention.

This sensor also functions as an RF repeater.

DUCOBox Ventilation System Compatibility

All user controllers and room sensors are fully compatible with DUCOBox ventilation systems, supporting intelligent and energy-efficient ventilation control.

Room Sensors Without User Control

CO₂ Room Sensor Without Control (RF + Wired)

This version of the CO₂ room sensor regulates the demand-controlled ventilation system without manual user input. It measures CO₂ concentration and temperature to automatically control airflow.

It is particularly suitable for bedrooms, where user interaction is not required.

This sensor also works as an RF repeater.

Surface-Mounted Box for DUCO Controllers & Sensors

For renovation applications, an optional surface-mounted box is available. This allows DUCO user controllers and sensors to be installed neatly without recessing into walls, providing a practical and clean solution for retrofit projects.
