Iris Damper Airflow Regulator for Circular Duct – 80mm to 800mm
An iris damper regulates and measures airflow in circular ducts with exceptional accuracy. The iris blades close from the outside in, keeping the opening central so airflow stays even, and pressure tappings allow the air volume to be read directly from the damper setting. Fully open it gives 100% free area for cleaning.
Key features
- Accurate airflow regulation and measurement
- 100% free area when fully open
- Galvanised steel with spigot ends
- 14 diameters from 80mm to 800mm

Specifications
Compact and lightweight design
With a low weight of just 21 kg, this ventilation unit can be installed quickly and safely by a single installer. Its space-saving footprint makes the DucoBox Energy Comfort perfectly suited for small plant rooms and confined technical areas.
Software-controlled left/right configuration
The unit is designed for maximum installation flexibility. Left- or right-hand airflow orientation is adjusted entirely via software, eliminating the need for mechanical modifications. This is made possible by an innovative patented double bypass system.
Automatic calibration
Using constant pressure calibration technology, the AUTO calibration function reduces commissioning time by up to 50%. In real-world installations, this can translate into lower labour costs and faster system setup.
High energy efficiency
Advanced dynamic air filtration ensures consistently high heat recovery efficiency. When combined with optional intelligent demand control based on CO₂ and humidity sensors, the system delivers excellent indoor air quality while minimising energy consumption.
Smart copy function for fast commissioning
An integrated software-level copy feature allows installers to duplicate settings and parameters from one unit to another. This is especially valuable for multi-unit or repeated housing projects, ensuring consistent performance and significantly reducing setup time.
