The Panasonic Aquarea WH-MXC09J3E5 is a 9kW T-CAP (Total Capacity) monobloc air-to-water heat pump from the J Series, engineered to hold its full heating output even in extremely cold weather – the right choice for retrofits replacing gas or oil boilers.
As a monobloc, all refrigerant stays inside the outdoor unit and only water flow and return connect to the property, simplifying installation. T-CAP technology means the nominal capacity is maintained at low outdoor temperatures rather than falling away, so radiators, underfloor heating and fan coils keep performing on the coldest days. It runs reliably down to -20°C and achieves an A+++ energy rating.
An integrated electric heater, variable-speed "A" class water pump and specialised low-temperature software (minimum output 20°C) are built in, and the optional Wi-Fi adapter adds Aquarea Service Cloud smartphone control. Pair with an external cylinder for domestic hot water.
