The DucoBox Focus DCV represents the highest-specification smart demand-controlled MEV system in the DUCO range. Designed for continuous extraction from kitchens and bathrooms to a single central unit, it delivers exceptionally quiet, energy-efficient ventilation for modern residential buildings.
Unlike the DucoBox Silent Connect, the DucoBox Focus adds advanced zonal control, allowing up to 11 individual areas to be managed independently. This is achieved through internal humidity and CO₂ control valves integrated directly within the unit, enabling precise room-by-room airflow regulation. All sensors and control options are available as upgrades, allowing the system to be configured exactly to project requirements.
Using intelligent demand-controlled technology, airflow is automatically increased or reduced per zone based on programmed humidity or CO₂ thresholds. This ensures air is extracted only where needed, when required, and in the correct volume, maximising indoor air quality while minimising energy consumption.
Manufactured in Belgium, the DucoBox Focus features double-wall construction and advanced acoustic engineering, making it one of the quietest MEV units available in Europe. With a performance capacity of up to 400 m³/h, it is ideally suited to high-quality new builds and premium renovations with up to seven extract points.
The unit includes seven Ø125 mm inlet connections and one Ø125 mm outlet as standard. With optional Q-V adaptors, it can also be installed using up to seven Ø90 mm crush-proof radial ducts with antibacterial lining, reducing installation time and ensuring compliance with the latest building regulations.
Demand-Controlled Ventilation Philosophy
Traditional MEV systems typically operate continuously at a fixed speed, leading to unnecessary energy use. DUCO moves beyond this outdated approach by offering true on-demand ventilation, ensuring extraction occurs only when necessary and for as long as required.
Depending on configuration, the system can utilise internal humidity detection or optional CO₂ sensors to dynamically adjust performance. This intelligent approach guarantees optimal indoor air quality while using the lowest possible energy input, delivering a genuinely energy-optimised ventilation solution.
Control Valves and External Components
The DucoBox Focus and Silent Connect systems can be paired with a range of internal control valves, optionally equipped with CO₂ or humidity sensors. These valves ensure polluted or moisture-laden air is removed precisely and efficiently.
Airflow rates are factory set but can be manually adjusted during or after installation using the display menu, DUCO Network Tool, or DUCO Installation App.
Available control valve options include:
- CO₂ control valves: 25 / 30 / 75 m³/h
- Humidity control valve: 50 m³/h
- Sensor-less control valve: 25 m³/h
